LEWISTON — Macaroni Kid, Androscoggin River Valley will host two sessions of “Bake and Bond” to benefit Cookies for Kids’ Cancer at 1 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Nutrition Center of Maine, 208 Bates St.

Bake and Bond is a parent and kids’ cooking class that helps kick cancer to the curb. Kids will get hands-on experience making three batches of cookie dough from scratch.

Participants may bake their cookies at the event or bring the dough home to freeze and bake later.

The cost is $20 per child/adult pair, $10 for each additional child. There will be door prizes from OXO and King Arthur Flour.
