I am offended by the recent verbal attacks on Lewiston Mayor Bob Macdonald. It is time for people to stand up for freedom of speech and support the mayor. The Somalis and liberals want to silence those people like Macdonald.

This is the second time they have attacked Lewiston mayors.

Several years ago, I read a article in the Sun Journal in which a Somali stated that his homeland’s culture permitted men to have multiple wives. Maybe that is what Mayor Macdonald had in mind about leaving that culture at the door when they come here. Polygamy is unlawful here.

I think the city should look in that matter and see if the law is being broken here.
