Mt. Abram 1, Lisbon 0
SALEM — Calum Dixon registered the game’s only goal with 30 minutes remaining in the second half to propel Mt. Abram to a 1-0 victory over Lisbon in boys’ MVC soccer.
After faking out a defender deep in Lisbon territory, Dixon dribbled toward Greyhound goalie Andrew Gamache, poking the ball into the lower right side of the net for the score. Mt. Abram (7-4-1) outshot Lisbon 11-8.
Tristen Dyer stopped all eight shots he faced for the shutout. Gamache finished with 10 saves for Lisbon (4-7-1).
Mt. View 4, Leavitt 3
THORNDIKE — Kyle Crowell scored with 4:40 remaining in the game to break a 3-3 tie as Mt. View edged Leavitt, 4-3 in boys’ soccer.
Mt. View’s Lorenzo Milani scored a pair of first half goals including the game’s first score and the tying goal before the half. Tyler Roux and Brandon Morissette each collected a goal for the Hornets (2-10). Morisstte also had an assist.
Leavitt’s Ben Fullerton made 11 saves against 30 shots. Mikey Hustus turned away four shots for Mustangs (9-2-1).
Dirigo 5, Oak Hill 0
WALES — Trevor Statham and Chad Snowman each knocked in a pair of goals as Dirigo walked all over Oak Hill, 5-0, in a boys’ soccer game Friday.
The Cougars (8-4) erupted with four goals in the first half and cruised the rest of the way in the second half. Tim White also scored for Dirigo.
Hunter Ross collected two assists and T.J. Frost and Bryan Volkernick each had one. Goalie Mike Chow preserved the shutout, making three saves.
Poland, Sacopee tie
POLAND — Nate Morin and Alex Corcoran scored one goal each as Poland played to a 2-2 tie in double overtime with Sacopee Valley in boys’ soccer action Friday.
TheHawks (1-8-1) responded to the Knight’s (2-6-3) opening goal with a pair before the half. Trey Watson and Ryan Moulton provided the Sacopee goals.
Corcoran converted a pass from Sean Kruse at 28:52 of the second half to deadlock the game for Poland.
Goalie Michael Pingree made seven saves for Sacopee Valley, while goalie Zack Lowe prevented five for Poland.
