TURNER — Greater Purpose, a Christian rock group, will perform in concert on Saturday, Oct. 20, as part of the Fall Music Festival at the North Turner Presbyterian Church.
The concert, originally scheduled for Sept. 22, was cancelled due to an illness.
Greater Purpose’s songs are scriptural but are written about members’ lives. The group’s music, featuring catchy melodies, harmonies, acoustic guitars and keyboards, is from the heart. Songs are upbeat and meant to minister to others.
Band members are Cathi Burke, Craig Hutchinson, Louise McCleery and Alan Hutchinson.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the church on Route 219, about 1 mile east of Routes 4 and 219. Children are welcome. Goodwill donations will be accepted at the door, with all proceeds going to the church’s operational budget. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 225-3370.
