I am voting for Peggy Rotundo, representative for Lewiston’s House District 74. I have seen her review legislation meticulously, ensuring she researches all the facts of a bill prior to voting. Quietly, never looking for the spotlight, she asks the tough questions.

She is respected by both Democrats and Republicans in the state Legislature.

Serving on the Appropriations Committee, she understands that the costs have to be evaluated to best serve everyone now and in the future. As a Lewiston homeowner, I feel her understanding of state funding has kept property taxes from skyrocketing, as they have in New Hampshire.

She has proved to be fiscally responsible in both her personal and political life and area residents need her to represent them in Augusta.

That is why I will be voting for Peggy Rotundo in November.
