My wife and I will be voting for John Cleveland for the Maine Senate. He understands the importance of education and the need for good teachers. He demonstrated that when he served in the Legislature before.

Also, when he was mayor of Auburn for four years, he supported the school budgets annually. As a result of his working with the city council and explaining what was needed for the betterment of the students, the school budget was passed each year with no serious cuts.

He also is a great supporter of USM L-A College, especially the non-traditional students.

However, he will not vote a bill up or down just because one group wants him to do so. His support of education does not mean he will always vote the way I might want, but I know that John Cleveland’s vote will be for the betterment of all Maine people.
