LIVERMORE FALLS — Spruce Mountain High School’s SMART robotics will kick off its fundraising for the 2012-13 season at the Apple Pumpkin festival.The Apple Pumpkin Festival has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Livermore Fall recreation fields.
The team needs to raise $6000 to meet its financial obligations for this year. The following fundraising activities are planned. Oct. 13, Apple Pumpkin Festival, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Oct. 20, Zombie and Costume car wash, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Nov. 10, bottle drive, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Jan. 5, public supper and kick off event; May Car Show; and June Lego summer camp from June 24-27.
The First Robotics Team is made up of seniors Michael Taylor Hampton, Caleb Berry, Jake Tompkins and Scott Marraffa; juniors Adam Gettle, Erik Taylor, Shelby Bryant, Michael Chavez, Dustin Jones, Lucas Preble, John Mc Kenna, Austin Couture, Hannah Melotto and Jasmin Pelton; sophomores Denton Bilodeau, Sam Brenner, Tyler Ritter, Jacob Luce, Chloe Flagg, Mitchell Caldwell, Casey Boulay, Amia Pelletier and Kortney Chapman; and freshmen Alexa Perkins, Ben Nichols, Michael Herlihy, Jason Robins, Brian Jones, Peter Chavez, Camden Noll, SebastianLombardi, Jacob Foss and Austin Greeley.
