Auburn Parks and Recreation Superintendent Mike Bolduc, right, steadies a stake for co-worker Paul Charest as he drives it into the ground in the park behind Rolly’s Diner. The stake will help hold caution tape to keep people from climbing on an antique popcorn truck. Proceeds from New Auburn’s Chili/Chowder Challenge at the Boys and Girls Club this Saturday will be donated to restore the Marshall’s Popcorn Truck that was a fixture in downtown Auburn for more than 60 years. The contest will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. and will feature live music. In the background are Rolly’s Diner owner Ken Blais, right, and Auburn City Councilor Leroy Walker. For more information or to enter the contest, call Joe Gray at 615-6957.
