I will be supporting John Patrick for the Maine Senate in this fall’s election.

He has been a strong advocate for public education during his tenure in the Maine Senate. He recognizes that charter schools will only drain needed resources away from the public schools and has supported national board certification for Maine’s teachers. He has served on a school board and understands the issues that face Maine educators and the children they serve.

Patrick has also been a strong voice for working families. He understands and fights for legislation that he knows would benefit his constituents. He has supported legislation that has protected voting rights, workers’ compensation, child labor laws and the minimum wage.

John Patrick has earned the privilege of serving as my representative to the Maine Senate. I will vote for him in the upcoming November election.
