On Nov. 6, I will be casting my vote for Dennise Whitley for the Maine Senate, District 13. She is a Maine native with roots in Norway and knows what makes sense for this state.

As a health care worker, I am familiar with Whitley’s work at local hospitals, the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross. She knows how state government works from her experience as the Maine government relations director for the American Heart Association.

It is important for the public to be represented by a senator who understands and who will work for access to quality health care for the citizens of this state.
