I write in support of Nate Libby’s candidacy to represent Lewiston (District 73) in the Maine House of Representatives.

I have known him for the past six years — since he graduated from college and chose to make Lewiston his home. He ran for the Lewiston City Council and won that election handily. He has served the people well with his thoughtful, reasoned approach to city government. His service on the council and knowledge of Lewiston and its needs will be of great benefit to the city in the Legislature.

Libby grew up in rural Maine, so he is also familiar with the issues that all Mainers face. That experience, as well, will make him an extremely valuable member of the Legislature. It is exciting to have such a knowledgeable young person become involved in Maine government.

I know that Nate Libby will represent Lewiston well.

I will vote for him on Nov. 6.
