DEDHAM — The wedding of Kristen Lee Adams and Jesse Jeffery Fournier was held at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 at the Lucerne Inn in Dedham. Lynn Hunt, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Fournier is the daughter of Randy and Bonita Adams of Jay. Mr. Fournier is the son of Ed and Sylvie Fournier of Jay.

The bride wore an ivory satin gown with sweetheart neckline rouched bodice and an Empire waist featuring delicate beaded detail to match the layered veil. Also featured was bow detail on the lower right side of the gown and a bubble hem, with chapel train. She carried a bouquet of orange roses wrapped in ivory ribbon.

Honor attendants for the bride were Bonita Adams, mother of the bride and Morgan Turner, best friend. Bridesmaids were Amy Dumeny and Mindy Enman. Madysyn Rundlett, niece, was flower girl.

Ed Fournier served as best man for his son. Ushers were Zach Adams, Rick Enman, John Spencer and Linwood Dumeny. Ring bearers were Cameryn and Kaydin Rundlett, nephews.

A reception followed at the Overlook Ballroom at the Lucerne Inn, after which the couple spent a week in a cottage overlooking Winter Harbor outside of Acadia National Park. They are residing in Jay.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Jay High School and attended Capilo Institute, where she earned a cosmetology license. She also attended the University of Maine at Farmington and is currently working as an office associate for the Department of Marine Resources.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Jay High School and attended Region 9, where he earned a Class A driver’s license. He is currently employed by Jim Beam Inc. and also at White Rock Distilleries in Lewiston.
