MINOT — The wedding of Jacqueline J. Carpenter and Zachary A. Cornwell was held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 25 at the Center Minot Church. Caldie Jackson, family friend and notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Cornwell is the daughter of Michael and Jeanne Carpenter of Minot. Mr. Cornwell is the son of Michael and Debbie Cornwell of Paducah, Ky.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Catherine Haley, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor and Alexa Cornwell, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid.
Bobby Trevino, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man and usher was Mike Carpenter, brother of the bride.
A reception followed at the home of the parents of the bride in Minot. The couple traveled to Bar Harbor and Kentucky for their wedding trip. They are residing in Minot, N.D., where they are stationed.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Edward Little High School and is serving in the U.S. Air Force in security forces.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Lone Oak High School in Paducah, Ky., and West Kentucky Community and Technical College. He is serving with the U.S. Air Force in security forces.
