LEWISTON — Dr. Lee DeRosa, an optometrist of DeRosa and Chamberland Eyecare, 633 Main St., has recently been named a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. This honor signifies clinical knowledge and expertise in patient care at the highest optometric professional level possible.

Dr. DeRosa, along with his partner Dr. Parise Chamberland, are only a few optometrists in the country to attain this level of competency.

Dr. DeRosa is a member of the American Optometric Association, the National Glaucoma Society, and is past president of the Maine Optometric Association. Dr. DeRosa has presented a nationally certified course in glaucoma and has had several articles published in national journals.
