LEWISTON — On Sunday, Oct. 28, L/A Arts will kick off its Imagination Series, four performances aimed at younger audiences, with the Cashore Marionettes’ presentation, “Simple Gifts.”

The performance is a series of touching portrayals and poignant scenes from everyday life set to music by Vivaldi, Strauss, Beethoven, Copland and other composers.  

With this music, Cashore Marionettes combines virtuoso manipulation, theatrical illusion and artistic insight.

The Cashore Marionettes has entertained audiences in Europe, the Far East and across North America, including stops at the Kennedy, Annenberg  and Kravis centers and many other venues.
