1938 – 2012

AUBURN — Patricia Ann Connick, 74, died peacefully Oct. 13, at Bolster Heights, after complications from a stroke she suffered in September 2011.

She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 26, 1938, the only child of William J. Gibson Jr. and Eva A. Miller (Thurlow). She was educated in Auburn schools and married W. Earland Connick Sr. May 5, 1955.

She enjoyed hiking in the mountains of Maine and New Hampshire. She always looked forward to attending the Fryeburg Fair with friends and family each fall. She loved to travel and she traveled to Key West, Hawaii and Sicily, Italy, to be with her daughter, Karen (Connick) Cline, and her family when they were serving in the Navy. She worked for several years at LL Bean, retiring 10 years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine Connick, Gorham, and Kim (Connick) Spencer, Lewiston; two sons, W. Earland Connick Jr., Jay and Norway, and Shawn Crocker, Lewiston; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, W. Earland Connick Sr.; daughter, Karen (Connick) Cline, and son-in-law, Carlton William Spencer.

Patricia was a loving, caring mother and friend. She will be missed dearly.
