JAY — Funeral services for Natalie Bryant, of Jay, were held Thursday at 11 a.m., from the Jay Baptist Church, with Pastor Don Smith and Pastor Allen Hamlin co-officiating. The prelude music was entitled “Whispers.” Pastor Don offered opening remarks, followed by a scripture reading and a prayer by the Pastor Allen. “Precious Memories” was sung by the Pastor Don with his wife, Jane Calden Smith, playing on the piano, with Dot White on the organ as the congregation sang, “Majesty” and “Where Roses Never Fade.” Pastor Allen offered the Eulogy, where several friends and relatives offered their personal remarks about Natalie. Pastor Don offered the message, “Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled,” followed by the invitation to the luncheon, which was held in the undercroft of the Church. A closing prayer by Pastor Don concluded the services, with Dot White offering the postlude on the organ. Clint Dolloff, Randy Hamlin, Solomon Nutt, Isaac Taylor, Jason Hamlin, Allen Hamlin, and Zack LaRock served as pallbearers. Interment will be at a later date at Jay Hill Cemetery. Services were provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Road, Jay.
