CINCINNATI, Ohio — Robert W. Rodger,  88, beloved husband of Madaline Aspinall-Rodger (nee Merriam) and the late Janet M. Rodger (nee West), devoted father of Kathleen (Charles) Lester, Laura (Rick) Flagg and William (Betsy) Rodger, stepfather of Dana (Amy) and Richard Aspinall and Nettie Anne (Jason) Bean; also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, died Oct. 17.  He lived in Withamsville and Durham.

He graduated from University of Missouri School of Journalism, Co-founder of Committee of 500, Northern Kentucky, Member of Board of Directors Holly Hill Orphanage. He was a World War II veteran.
