NORWAY — Velma K. Kimball, 74, of Poland, passed away Oct. 19, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Lewiston, July 26, 1938, the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth Whittier Martin. She attended Poland area schools. She married Lloyd Kimball on May 20, 1961. They lived in Meriden Conn., before returning to Poland 16 years ago. She enjoyed doing puzzles, going out to eat, and spending time with her family.

Velma is survived by her husband, Lloyd; a son, Ricardo Kimball and his wife, Jessica of Guilford Conn.; a daughter, Susan Scott and her husband, George of Brownington, Vt.; two brothers, Orrin Martin and his wife, Elaine of S.C., and Francis Martin of Poland; two sisters, Connie Taker of Poland and Sheila Hull and her husband, John of East Hamden, Conn.; four grandchildren, Heather Dieda and her husband, Junior, Eric Scott and his wife, Trueley  all of Brownington Vt., Stephanie Kimball and her fiance, Adrian Elder of New Haven, Conn., and Tiffaney Kimball of Guilford, Conn.; and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Lewis Martin.
