FARMINGTON – Three people are running unopposed for Franklin County commissioner and register of probate in the Nov. 6 elections.
All three have more than 15 years in the positions.
Democrat Gary McGrane of Jay is seeking another four-year term as District 1 commissioner. The district encompasses Carthage, Jay and Wilton.
Republican Fred Hardy of New Sharon is also running for another four-year term as a Franklin County commissioner representing District 2, which encompasses Chesterville, Farmington and New Sharon.
Republican Joyce Morton of Farmington is seeking another four-year term as register of probate.
