WINDHAM, Conn. — Theresa (Ouellette) Stevens, 88, formerly of Rumford, wife of the late Kennard “Ken” Stevens, died peacefully, Oct. 18, at St. Joseph’s Living Center, where she had been a patient for seven years.

She was born in Rumford on March 18, 1923, the daughter of Oscar and Emilyanne Ouellette.

Theresa had always enjoyed sewing at home and caring for her husband and two daughters. She enjoyed traveling and camping later in life with her husband and spent many winters in Florida. She also enjoyed her several trips to Phoenix, Ariz., and made it her home for several years before moving to Connecticut.

Theresa is survived by her daughters, Brenda Gallant and her husband, Bill, of North Windham, Conn., and Judith Voter of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Rita Beaulieu of Auburn; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to St. Joseph’s Living Center for the wonderful and loving care given to Theresa while she was a patient there.
