Gary Knight is the epitome of an independent lawmaker.

He consistently votes for whatever is best for the citizens of District 81 and the state of Maine. His record is similar to retiring U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe, who is also known to be a legislator who does not follow the party line with every vote.

As an elected official in the town of Livermore Falls, I have worked with Knight to secure state help in downtown revitalization projects, namely, the Androscoggin Valley Medical Arts Center, the ongoing project to renovate the Lamb Block, and the reconstruction of Route 4.

Gary Knight has lots of positive work for his constituents in District 81.

I shall vote to keep him in Augusta.
