BETHEL — On Saturday, Oct. 27, The Community & Business Expo as well as the Taste of Bethel & Beyond will take place under the same roof at Telstar High School. An array of food will be offered by local restaurants and attendees can visit with dozens of regional businesses and organizations. Learn about the latest products and services and do early holiday shopping.

New this year are free Job Seekers & Entrepreneurship Workshops offering an array of essential tools and information for folks seeking to start a business or find employment. The Maine Career Center will be offering two one-hour workshops on cutting edge tips on resumes and interviewing techniques. The Maine Small Business Development Center will be offering four one-hour workshops from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  on the topics of starting a business in Maine; developing a business plan; understanding and predicting cash flow; and financing a business.

The expo and workshops will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food at the Taste of Bethel & Beyond is offered from noon to 2p.m. There will be raffle giveaways, a grand prize raffle of a cord of wood compliments of Cross Excavation, a pair of winter boots compliments of True North Adventureware and more. The first 200 to come through the door will receive a free gift, compliments of the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce.
