Lewiston Mayor Robert Macdonald is a good and fair man. I attend quite a few meetings. Some are more interesting than others. A lot of people speak out about the council meetings but you don’t see their faces at the meetings.

The people of Lewiston elected the mayor and six ward representatives. Mayor Macdonald was voted in without power or voting rights. That should not be. He sits there quietly and answers all the public’s questions to the best of his knowledge.

I think the mayor should sit tight through good and bad.

And the public should attend a council meeting soon.
