Sen. John Patrick has proven that he has the leadership skills to move Maine in the right direction.

His past history as a state representative benefited his district, and when he was termed out in that position, he did not stop working for the people. He wanted to continue to move Maine forward, so he moved on to the state Senate seat, where he has not stopped moving his district forward.

He fights for good jobs in the paper mills; funding for roads and bridges to bring more jobs to Maine; veterans’ rights; and ethics reforms.

He is well respected in the hall of the capital by both Democrats and Republicans.

He has certainly shown that he has the ability to get the job done.

To protect what we have, I will vote for Sen. John Patrick so he can keep Maine moving in a positive direction.
