LEWISTON — The wedding of Crystal Cecile Caron and Joshua William Blackwood was held on Sept. 2 in a private ceremony at Pine Point in Old Orchard Beach. Dawn Rancourt, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Blackwood is the daughter of Roger and Jacqueline Caron of Lewiston. Mr. Blackwood is the son of Cindy J. Blackwood of Lewiston.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory strapless lace gown with train and long white satin ribbon. She carried a bouquet of Calla lilies.
Jada and Amber Caron, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Brent Blackwood, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man.
Ring bearer was Brennan Blackwood, two-and-a-half-year-old son of the couple.
A reception was held at the home of their friends, Kevin and Lynn Partridge in Lisbon. The couple is planning an April trip to the Dominican Republic. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed in the anesthesia/operating room at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2007 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy with a degree in marine biology. He is employed as a supervisor at Bath Iron Works.
