MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — The wedding of Courtenay Rose Chase and Clifford Marc Gilbert was held at 5:30 p.m. on June 2 at Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, Conn. The Honorable Barry F. Feudale, family friend, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Gilbert is the daughter of Norman and Pat Chase of Orange, Conn. Mr. Gilbert is the son of Marc and Diane Gilbert of New Gloucester.

The bride wore a strapless gown and carried a bouquet of peonies.

Mariel Chase and Annelise Chase, sisters of the bride, were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Abigail Gilbert, sister of the bridegroom, and Lauren Bereski, friend of the couple.

Serving as best man for his brother was Andrew J. Gilbert. Ushers were Brendan Chase, brother of the bride, and Jon Herman, friend of the couple.

A reception followed at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, Conn., after which the couple honeymoned at St. Lucia at the Sandals La Toc Resort. They are residing in Sandy Hook, Conn.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. She is currently working at the Sabra Dipping Company in White Plains, N.Y., as a market trade analyst. She is a 2002 graduate of Amity Regional Senior High School in Woodbridge, Conn.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree from Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., with a concentration in marketing. He currently works for lighting manufacturer Hess America as the Eastern regional sales manager. He travels throughout his territory which covers the Eastern seaboard, meeting with his local representatives and specifiers to promote the Hess product line. When not traveling, he is based out of his home in Sandy Hook, Conn. He is a 2003 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School.
