The House District 68 race does not come down to which of the two candidates is friendly, considerate, known for integrity, and interested in citizens’ concerns. Both candidates are just that.

The important question is which candidate will work to move Auburn up on the school funding list, will block Gov. LePage’s efforts to shift costs downward to the local level under the guise of cutting costs, and will not enable the governor’s efforts to cut health care for the elderly and the disabled.

That candidate is Bettyann Sheats.
