Androscoggin County Judge of Probate Joshua Klein-Golden is running for re-election.

Judge Josh, as he is fondly referred to, is being supported by a campaign committee of both Democrats and Republicans. A unique team joined hands to elect the person, not a political party, which makes a loud statement about who he is — well respected.

He has said, “Every day heroes, who get no accolades, walk into my courtroom and I get to have a small role in it and one of the greatest things anyone can witness is the birth of their child. I am privileged to have the opportunity to watch the ‘birth’ of children every month when I finalize an adoption. Grandparents welcoming new grandchildren, cousins playing with a new cousin; the smiling faces, young and old, make my ‘job’ the greatest job in the world.”

That is why I am voting for Joshua Klein-Golden on Nov. 6.
