For the past three election years, Mike Beaulieu has come for a visit. We have a chat, held over my kitchen counter. He has brought me up to date about things in Augusta and has always inquired about any concerns I have about state government.

His concerns — high taxes, education and the overall economy in Maine — track closely with mine.

He has impressed me with his willingness to cross party lines on issues in which he believes strongly.

He was a teacher for nearly 40 years. His ongoing involvement in education demonstrates the dedication he has to what he believes in.

He has served three terms in the Legislature. He is now running for a fourth and final term. He has represented District 68 well and is deserving of that term.

His experience is needed in Augusta. My wife and I will be voting for Mike Beaulieu.
