I support Nichole Stevens on Nov. 6 as the next state representative from New Gloucester.

She is one of the most energetic and hard-working people I have met. Growing up in a working class Maine family, she learned early on the value and necessity of hard work. She put herself through college and continues to work full-time while assisting her husband in starting a small business.

Her focus as a state representative will be Maine workers and education. She wants to keep Maine students here by improving access to education and Maine’s economic climate.

Her opponent, Ellie Espling, has a different agenda. She presents herself as non-partisan, but her right-wing religious agenda was exposed for all to see with her unsuccessful anti-abortion legislation. She is extremely partisan, and ineffective to boot.

For truly non-partisan, effective representation for all New Gloucester citizens, Nichole Stevens is the choice on Nov. 6.
