I am writing to let the public know that they should thank Sen. Lois Snowe-Mello for her work helping to secure $2.8 million for the Lewiston/Auburn railroad reconstruction project. It will be located near the Auburn Intermodal facility and the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport.

Sen. Snowe-Mello supported the efforts of Auburn officials, working behind the scenes to help expedite that important project. When completed, it will create jobs and economic activity that will benefit the entire region.

That is yet another example of her tireless work ethic on behalf of Auburn and the surrounding communities and her constituents.

She is needed in the Maine Senate.
