LEWISTON — Armand Boucher, 96, of Lewiston, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, with his family by his side.
He was born in St. George, Canada, Jan. 18, 1916, the son of the late Johnny and Adeline (Busque) Boucher. In 1939, he married the former Francoise E. Bisson, and together they shared 68 years of marriage, before her death on Dec. 6, 2007.
Prior to his retirement in 1978, he was employed in the textile industry as a Tisserand at Bates Manufacturing. He enjoyed helping and caring for all his children and his wife, Francoise.
He is survived by his son, Guy Boucher and his wife, Connie, of Lewiston; his three daughters, Lise Welborne and Walter Connell of Harrison, Renee Sehl and her husband, Henry, of Lewiston and Diane Pelletier and her husband, Richard, of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
