FREEPORT — Joanne S. Nichols, 76, of Brunswick, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Freeport Nursing Home.

She was born in Auburn, Jan. 27, 1936, a daughter of the late Glendon and Shirley (Marshall) Nichols, who were her loving caregivers until their death. She enjoyed craft fairs, toe painting and especially loved her dog, “Little Mac.”

Joanne is survived by her sister, Sandra Drehobl of Brunswick, who she made her home with for more than 15 years; three nephews, David Drehobl of Brunswick, Dale Drehobl of Brunswick and Daniel Drehobl and his wife, Margaret, of San Diego, Calif.; three great-nephews and nieces, Zachary, Ezra and Isabel.

She was predeceased by her parents.
