SCARBOROUGH — Bruce Neils Lovering, 72, of Poland, passed away at the Gosnell Hospice House, Nov. 5, with his family by his side.

He was born in Portland, April 2, 1940, the son of Kenneth and Velma (Welch) Lovering. He grew up in Portland, graduating from Portland High School in 1958.

Bruce is survived by his sons, Stephen Lovering of Turner and Brian Lovering and Michael Lovering, both of North Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Mark Lovering of Wales, Monica Lovering of Lewiston and Taylor Lovering and Alyssa Lovering, both of North Yarmouth; his brother, Bernard and his wife, Brenda; numerous nieces and great-grandchildren; and his extended family.
