Republican incumbent Jarrod Crockett will return to the Legislature in House District 91 with a 2,933 to 1,904 victory over Michael Broderick in House District 91
Broderick, 61, of Bethel, campaigned on a pledge to help “develop a technology strategy and policy based on lean business processes” to encourage business expansion by “moving away from a bureaucratic-based process evaluation model to an accomplishment-based model.”
Crockett, 34, who has served four years in the Legislature, promised to follow through on his constituents’ need for reduced energy costs and less government regulations. “We have made strides in the last two years, but there is more work to do,” pledging to reform welfare in a way that helps the needy while also reducing fraud and waste.
Both were Clean Election candidates.
