LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are looking into a report of about $2,100 in merchandise and some prescription medication taken from a Hidden Avenue apartment. Police also are investigating a theft of an iPod from a gym locker at Spruce Mountain High School South.
The burglary was called in at 1 p.m. Monday, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Tuesday.
The items stolen from an apartment within the last couple of weeks included a desktop computer, children’s toys and a couple mattresses, he said. People who lived in the apartment were moving out, Steward said.
Sgt. Vern Stevens is investigating that incident along with the theft of an iPod Touch valued at $295 from a high school locker, Steward said. The incident also was reported Monday.
