Renagades earn a point
In recent Valley League action, the Maine Renegades Peewee One team earned a tie and dropped a game. Game one was a 3-3 tie against Casco AAA Two. Thomas Levasseur got the Renegades on the board midway through the first period. Casco matched each goal to earn the tie. Caden Smith and Colin Petit also scored for Maine. Receiving assists were Bree Bergeron, Brett Rockey, Cam Niven, Ridge Field, and Joe Pichette. Game two of the day was a hard fought 1-0 loss against the N.H. Saints. The Rens are back in action this weekend with a game against the Maine Moose.
Demons holding bottle drive
Lewiston Middle School Demons Hockey Program will be conducting a bottle drive fund raiser this Saturday November 10th. Players will assemble at the middle school at 830am and head out to area neighborhoods to collect bottles and cans. The money raised will help offset costs for the program. Your donations are greatly appreciated. Bottle donations can be left at either Roopers Bottle Redemption at Sabattus St or Lisbon Street in Lewiston or Donations to LMS Demons Hockey League can be sent to PO Box 2142 Lewiston ME 04240.
LMS Demons Hockey has four teams, 3 Co-Ed and 1 Girls only, that will compete in the Southern Maine Middle School Hockey League. Games are played from mid November through mid March at local and southern Maine area rinks.
