Renegades solid in New Hampshire

EXETER N.H — The Maine Renegades Peewee two team played two games this weekend in Exeter N.H.  The first game was against the Seacoast Spartans. The Renegades  broke the game open  with a quick goal from Colby Plante with the assist from Hunter Hughes.  The Spartans were able to slip in two goals in second period before Parker Simoneau blasted the puck from the point. The Spartans goalie was able to stop the initial shot, but Hunter Steele knocked in the rebound to tie the score at 2-2.  The game ended in a 2-2 tie.

The Renegades then played the Methuen Peewee one team. The Renegades wasted no time on getting the first score in period two.  Colby Plante laced a quick shot on goal with the assist coming from Parker Simoneau and Logan Nickerson. A minute later Sam Alexander walked in for an unassisted goal. At the five-minute mark of the second, Logan Alexander slipped one by with the assist coming from Hunter Steele.

The third period opened with Hunter Steele scoring with the assist coming from Logan Alexander and Cam Audette. The Renegades then scored four more goals to close out the game with an 8-0 win. Sam Alexander finished the game with four goals, including three in the third. Hunter Steele finished with one goal and three assists. Junior Mathon had an unassisted goal.
