RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Mildred “Millie” Mickeriz was celebrated Friday, Nov. 16, at 10. a.m., at the Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Robert Vaillancourt was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Amazing Grace,” “You Raise Me Up,” “Ave Maria,” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by her granddaughter, Michelle Lehigh. The New Testament was proclaimed by her granddaughter, Monique Poulin-Towle. Offertory gifts were presented by her daughter, Susan Burnikel and grandson, Christopher Poulin. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed at S.G. Thibault Funeral Home.
