In Maine: Will the Democrats’ majority cancel the Republican tax reductions, increase welfare benefits, and legislate to discourage job creation? If they do, and the governor’s veto of those measures is not sustained, will we see additional taxes? Will the teachers’ union overwhelm the charter school laws? Will the Democrats not hold sections of government accountable nor fund the state retirement accounts, as in the past?
Nationally: Will President Obama realize his duty to protect this country and stand up for it instead of pussy-footing with enemies who would delight in overwhelming the U.S., its legal system and freedom of religion? Will Obama support the attempted erosion of freedom of speech?
Will “Obamacare” be extraordinarily costly (needing tax increases) with non-medical bureaucrat controls, but continuing the exceptions for compliance granted to unions and other Obama favorites?
Will Obama’s non-transparent administration continue to hide its errors? Will the National Labor Relations Board continue to regulate to defeat right-to-work rules and give unions more power?
What is the possibility of more Supreme Court appointments similar to the two blatant liberals Obama has already appointed? Is the U.S. Constitution in danger?
Can the illegal immigrant problem be solved through a bipartisan plan to, first, and very importantly, secure the borders, then process illegals toward citizenship if they learn English, work and pay taxes? Does that make sense? Will Obama continue to prosecute border state officials for enforcing the federal immigration laws? Does that make sense?
