NORWAY — Andre Villoch will bring his trademark combination of foot-tapping tunes, on-stage wit and laughter to the Norway Grange on Saturday, Nov. 24, at a benefit for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Most recently from the Midwest, Villoch now lives in the Oxford Hills and sometimes performs his combination of folk music, humor and storytelling at the open mic at Tucker’s Pub.

With three albums to his credit, the singer-songwriter/guitarist can be heard in 12 countries as well as on iTunes and Amazon. He is in the studio working on his fourth album after returning from a successful tour.

Known for his lyrical prowess, Villoch sings about life, love and the allure of live music. With roots in opera, pop, gospel, bluegrass and folk, his songs bear the mark of a rich heritage of musical inspiration.

The 8 p.m. concert, put on by Occupy Oxford Hills and the Norway Grange, is free, with donations encouraged. The Grange is on Whitman Street.
