LEWISTON —Norma J. Campeau, 71, of Lewiston, died after a long and brave battle with frontotemporal dementia. She was taken to her place in heaven on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 22, 1940, to Simeon and Alfreda (Dube) Levesque.
Norma worked as a floral designer for many years, most recently for Dube’s Flower Shop of Lewiston.She will be most remembered by her family and those who knew her for her infectious smile and love of music and dancing.She was the center of all family gatherings, with her heartfelt laugh and quick wit.Norma was the wind beneath the wings of her siblings.She always provided the words of wisdom and the shoulder of support when her sisters were in need. She dedicated her life to her two daughters.They were truly her biggest accomplishment and most beloved life’s treasures.She is free now to spread her angel wings and sing and dance for eternity.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna St. Amand and her husband, Roger of Litchfield and Lisa DeCamillis and her husband, Cody of Portland; two sisters, Lorraine Audet of Auburn and Linda Danforth of Lisbon;one brother, Raymond Levesque, also of Lisbon; three grandchilden, Nicholas St Amand and his wife, Jessica of Gardiner and Mia and Ava DeCamillis of Portland; and nieces, grandniece and grandnephew.
She was predeceased by her mother and father.
