AUBURN — A Falmouth man suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon when his car crested a hill on Washington Street and struck a tractor-trailer blocking the southbound lanes, according to police.
Sliter was backing into the driveway of Connectivity Point to make a delivery and was blocking both southbound lanes when Thiboutot’s Honda sedan crested the hill and he was partially blinded by sunlight, the report said.
Thiboutot’s 1993 Honda was heavily damaged. The 2007 Freightliner registered to A Duie Pyle Inc. of West Chester, Pa., had minor damage, the report said.
Traffic was diverted from the scene until the road was reopened by 2:15 p.m.
