LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Lucille N. Bazinet was celebrated Tuesday by the Rev. Marc Caron at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish. During Mass, Lucille’s granddaughter, Renee Nelson, proclaimed a First Testament reading, and grandaughter, Lindsey Jurkowski, recited the prayer of the faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by daughter-in-laws, Terry and Linda Bazinet. Words of remembrance were shared at the end of Mass by Lucille’s son-in-law, Charles Ferryall. After Mass, the funeral procession passed Lucille’s home in her honor on the way to St. Peter’s Cemetery, where Father Caron recited committal prayers. Daughter-in-law, Lisa Bazinet, also read the poem “Beattitudes” as a final tribute to Lucille. At the conclusion of committal prayers, all were then invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant. Pallbearers were Steven and Kevin Bazinet, Eric and Scott Gagnon as well as Michael Jurkowski and Billy Nelson. Arrangements by the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home.
