LEWISTON —The Maine Music Society’s performance of “A Heritage Christmas” will join the voices of the Androscoggin Chorale and the Lewiston High School Chamber Choir on Dec. 8-9 and 15.

Each choir will perform works of its choosing and then combine to perform “Carol of the Bells,” “Ding Dong Merrily on High” and many seasonal favorites.

Joined by accompanist Bridget Convey, the Chamber Choir, led by Darren Avery, and the Chorale will perform “Hodie!” by Z. Randall Stroope, with maestro John Corrie concluding the concert with an invitation to the audience to sing Christmas carols.

A silent auction on Dec. 8-9 will be open for bids in the downstairs social hall one hour before concerts, during intermissions and a half-hour after concerts. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available. Bidding will close a half-hour after the Sunday concert. Guests do not have to be present to win, but they may take their items with them if they stay.

“A Heritage Christmas” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Franco-American Heritage Center, 46 Cedar St. The Saturday, Dec. 15, concert will be at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St., South Paris.
