PORTLAND — The Choral Art Society will present its 25th “Christmas at the Cathedral” concert on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1-2.

Featured will be soprano Suzanne Nance, who performs throughout the United States and Europe, and is also well known in Maine as host of MPBN’s “Morning Classical” program. Also spotlighted will be the Portland Brass Quintet, which has  partnered with the Choral Art Society for all 25 “Christmas at the Cathedral” seasons.

To commemorate its anniversary, the Choral Art Society commissioned a new work for chorus and brass quintet by Boston composer Kevin Siegfried.

Concerts will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and 2:30 & 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress St. There will also be a preview performance at noon, Saturday, Dec. 1.

Tickets will also be sold at Starbird Music and Longfellow Books, the Book Review in Falmouth, Nonesuch Books in South Portland and Biddeford Crossing and Gulf of Maine Books in Brunswick. Saturday  preview tickets, $10, available only at the door.
