* Paul Debois, 40, of 95 Turkey Lane, Turner, arrested by Maine State Police on charges of driving with a suspended license and violating conditions of release, 11 a.m. Thursday on Route 4.

Accidents

Auburn

* A car driven by Deborah Simard, 54, of Minot, struck the back of a car driven by Eugene A. Carpentier, 40, of Auburn, while Simard was stopped in traffic at 4:49 p.m. Tuesday on Court Street near Park Avenue. The impact forced Carpenter’s car into the back of an SUV driven by Shane A. Smith, 37, of Corpus Christi, Texas, who was also stopped in traffic. Simard’s 2003 Subaru and Carpentier’s 2010 Subaru were towed. Damage to Smith’s 2008 Jeep was listed as minor.
