LEWISTON — Gloria F. Bilier, 85, of 143 Mill St., Auburn, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Montello Manor in Lewiston.
Born in Auburn, on Jan. 18, 1927, she was the daughter of Raoul and Lillian Lebrun Fortin. Educated in Auburn schools, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School. On Oct. 16, 1948, she married Joseph J. L. Bilier; he passed away on April 30, 2008. After her children were grown, she went to work at the St. Louis Church Rectory for 10 years and then worked at Bolster Heights Nursing Home until her retirement. A former member of the St. Louis Parish Council, she also belonged to the St. Anne’s Rosary Sodality, Horizon 55 and the New Auburn Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two sons, Lionel and wife, Kathy of Lewiston and Daniel of Monmouth; a daughter, Laura and husband, Richard Asselin of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
