LEBANON — A man was arrested Monday following a hit-and-run, two-vehicle crash Saturday evening involving a woman and her three children.

Alan Wilson, 31, of Berwick, has been charged with operating under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident in connection to the crash that happened on Carl Broggi Highway just after 6 p.m.

Jennifer Nadeau, 31, of Farmington, N.H., was traveling eastbound with her three children when she noticed Wilson in her lane. Nadeau swerved to avoid his vehicle but was struck in the front driver’s side of her Jeep SUV, causing significant damage.

Rescue officials from Lebanon arrived on the scene and Chief Blaine Wood of the Lebanon Fire Department said about 10 members of his department assisted at the scene. Nadeau was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H., with non-life threatening injuries. Her three children were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released to their father.

Berwick police located Wilson at his residence on Monday and turned him over to arresting Maine State Trooper David Coflesky.
